There is a place in the world where the river Ebro breaks through the mountains to create a great valley. When entering La Rioja, it forms two huge meanders, bordering hills and carving out wonderful landscapes that shape the heart of Haro. There, you can find one of the most important quarters in the world of wine: THE HARO STATION DISTRICT.
During the last third of the nineteenth century, several wineries were set up near the railway station and the wine business brought great wealth to the area. Today, it is comprised of seven wineries of different ages, different sizes and with different styles, putting together an incredible mosaic that interprets the Haro landscape in totally different ways. They have found their personal character in buildings, in philosophy and in wine and they create a magical atmosphere capable of attracting thousands of wine lovers from all over the world.
These wineries have learned that, together, they are much stronger and, while respecting the marked differences among us, we have found there is an incredible synergy created by the Station District.
